i'm so confused... how come people need the 5mm spacers and some don't?
2PUTT is running the wheels on 255/35 and 275/35 without any spacers and he has no issues... i'm on kwv3 and pretty slammed... maybe Apex can confirm, i want the wheels on 255/35 and 275/35 with no camber kits and no spacers and zero rubbing issues, is this possible? |

maybe a stupid question but with mperf would getting a et23 front eliminate need for spacer.
wanting to run 265 35 with minimal drop and camber plates |

apex has a 22 offset wheel which will help with more clearance on the strut but than we sit with the option of rubbing as CrazyK is essentially running a 23mm offset currently. I also dont want to buy wheels and than need to add spacers kinda defeats the object. |

While we do offer a 19x9.5 ET22 fitment that CAN work for the M2C, it is not something that we recommend unless the car is used for track work only. The ET22 up front is very aggressive and will require at least -2˚ of camber up front, meaning that you will likely need camber plates. The ET28 fitment is much less aggressive and was designed to maximize front tire widths without the need to run camber up front with stock suspension. The ET28 will require a 5mm spacer to clear the various KW HAS based systems. We would recommend a bit of negative camber dialed in to allow for proper fender clearance, especially if you plan to fit an aggressive 265mm front tire. - Max

I like the beefy tire look and will allow me to run re71r without stretching a 255. also maintaining reasonable amount of front splitter clearance thoughts? |

not a fan of the stretched look either and hope I can either use a Sport Cup 2 with a 255/275 or trofeo R/R888R with 265/30 & 295/30. hopefully with camber we can get away with using the 22 offset rim with no Spacer. |

Wheels and tires on with the 265/295 R888r setup. Definitely happy with the look and happy about the tire size. However, my goal was to acquire wheels that provided the contact patch I was looking for without spacers which these wheels do not achieve since I have the M Performance coilovers. Can't win them all I guess.

No rubbing on the fender or the spring collar. I'm going to stick with 7.5's to get a little extra space on the inside. |

I assume the 28mm? are you running camber plates? I am pretty confident a 265/30 R888R will clear with no spacer with 22 offset but will need camber. How many many mm clearance do you have between strut and tyre now with your spacer. care to measure if you have some time. Last edited by whoop_ass; 10-12-2019 at 11:52 PM.. |

Expert@ApexRaceParts any plans on any other M2C specific setup that doesnt require spacers and that is lighter than this EC7 setup? Been waiting for you guys to launch something else Competition specific.

This is a great question. Just to clarify, the 19x9.5" ET28 EC-7 does not require spacers when used with stock suspension or lowering springs. Spacers are only needed when using certain adjustable coilovers like KW, Öhlins, or the BMW M Performance kit which is made by KW. To avoid spacers with the setups mentioned above, the 19x9.5" ET22 can be used, but it will require camber plates and around -2.0º or more of front negative camber in order to clear. Coilovers can be used with the ET28 without spacers with the correct spring configuration. This means a short linear main spring without helper springs, and a smaller strut body diameter which can be found on dampers from JRZ (we sell these), MCS, Moton, etc. --Dylan
