What did you do to your M2 today?

They are pretty nice. Cloth/rubber hybrid. You get the look of cloth with some of the all weather capabilities of rubber. obviously without raised edges and stuff to trap debris, it can get everywhere just like with cloth mats. But other than that, they are great floor mats. Provide plenty of grip for your shoes as well while driving.

Can ANYONE please help me understand why BMW offers red, yellow and orange M perf brakes that are only marginally better than m sport brakes? They are both even 4 piston...

It's because you're missing out on the fun. Cars are meant to be driven and the M2 does surprisingly very well in the snow.

BBK's like Brembo, Stoptech, Wilwood, etc., are very expensive.

I haven't looked for the M2, but a decent front and rear setup will run anywhere from $5-10k depending on what you get.

Why?!

The M Performance brakes use the same calipers as the M Sport brakes (328i/330i and up), they are just a different color. Same calipers are used on the M2/3/4.
