Should I pull the trigger?
Those that have pulled the trigger on bootmod3 what is your opinion on daily drivability and overall characteristics of the power increase? Any concerns about hardware fatigue? Currently I have a piggyback tune, Wagner fmic and a catted DP HJS. Seriously considering the bootmod3. Advice much appreciated thank you!

As for BM3 platform, it is ground breaking and the only one of its kind in the industry. As for ProTune. Drivability is stock. Power increase is noticeable, but how much of it to expect depends on supporting hardware and octane you have. I'm using BM3 and no biased at all. BM3 is a must have. BTW, JB4 works well with M2. If you look solely after power, you should consider meth, ethanol and/or bigger turbo and stack jb4 on a BEF (could be BM3 or any other flashes).

The nature of piggyback is very dirty and tricking for so long is not good or consistent for the car. I have encountered many folks running piggyback and have excessive oil consumptions and bunch of random codes popping up unexpectedly. When, if you go with Bootmod3 you can request how you want your Map (stock power like or more linear etc) with the extra features that are included (Burbles, GTS Transmission, Logging, flashing back to stock, and Custom Tunes via the Bootmod3 Dealers directly via the App) is in a league of its own.

Dzenan, two questions.
1) When wired to phone, does agent device still require another power source or can it use phone as power supply? 2) Has agent device received hardware update ever since it's out? Quote:

This might be posted somewhere, but does anyone have any ideas on the gain for a M2 N55 with BM3 on a otherwise stock car? I'm more interested in the custom mapping capabilities, but running an OTS STG0/1 with a bit of a gain wouldn't hurt.
I understand the car heatsoaks a lot, but I plan on getting the Bm3 before the CSF cooling suite is out. I do have access to E85 here, but without a ethanol content sensor I'm not sure I want to play with that.

No, the stupid overboost will be permanently disabled. You car will be running at higher boost than stock tune overboosted.

And please listen to yourself - "jb4 has more safety parameters than the car's computer". A strong contender for the ridiculous comment of the year. You're right, to each their own. Nothing wrong with valuing JB4.
