There isn't anything special about this paint. It's just another shade that differs in different lighting conditions just like YMB, SO, AY, etc. The paint for every M2 is "made" the same way. Now, getting it to blend will be just as hard as those colors I mentioned.

three stage paint systems have been around quite some time. It's not hard to match paint on metal. It's more difficult if this sort of paint is on the metal and the plastic.

It never really exactly matches on the plastic.
It's simply not possible to paint two different surfaces the same color and have it show the same way. The moment someone has an incident and gets a new bumper they think the plastic parts look different newly, but it's because that they already assumed the different surfaces were the same color in the beginning.

It's difficult because your eye/brain tends to help blend colors just. L I K E when your br in can fi ure out how to make the words l o o k right in th s sentence.

One of the most difficult owner groups to deal with this issue on is the latest generation Camaro. I can't tell you how many whiny camaro owners I have talked to over the last 5 years.

It's foolish to judge a car's color by viewing internet posts.
The color balance of the camera could be off, the image processing software
could add a color cast, and everyone's screen is calibrated differently.

Haha well maybe my eyes need calibration then Bc when I saw LBB in person last year at the auto show, under indoor lights there is absolutely some teal green to it. Hate to break it to ya...

There is absolutely a ton of teal/green in it, just depends on the light. To me, that's a good thing. Sets it apart from the sea of other blue cars.

Just want to let you guys know that LBB does not look like this in real life. Its too blue, almost Estoril Blue in the pictures. LBB definitely has some of that green in it....I've seen it both on the M2 and on the 6XM. I love the color, but I just think the pictures are a bit off to what it actually looks like. I suggest you go see it if you are on the fence. Either way, it fits the M2 perfectly!
