It is the same so it doesn't matter what option you go with. One is cheaper but the end result is 100% identical.

I'm itching to get mine
The black looks so good. I ordered mine in January and am expecting delivery in Aug/Sept. Loving all the photo's.
Saw my first M2 in the streets of Zurich Switzerland today. Coincidentally it was GetAlife75 in his gorgeous LBB. I was chasing him in my Vespa to say hello haha |

My AW is booked in for CP too, not sure if I'll go 4 layers like you though.

How do you find the contrast with the cf bits and BSM? I ask because BSM does not photograph well (vs other colours) so it's hard to judge. Just like BSM looks much better IRL, I'm hoping the contrast is more 'noticeable' IRL. |

I just got my BSM M2 yesterday. It is really really sharp looking! Agree looks much better in real life than in pics.
Everyone at the dealership had to come take a look at it and commented at how it looked so much better than they expected! Glad I went with BSM. I am partial but I think it is the best color of the four! Also the least popular! Only 90 NA BSM M2's produced in MY2016! 10 less than MGM which came in at 100. Honestly I have been at work all day today and haven't taken her out of the garage today although i did stop in when i got home and say hello. However yesterday at the dealership, while it was parked out front, I just kept staring at the car, along with everyone else, very very very happy with her. Infatuation may be a better description. I will say, it may be a pita to keep clean, and definitely not a loud looking color, but there is no mistaking that an M2 in BSM means business! Serious business! It was next to a black M4 for a while and the M2 drew waayyy more attention and comments! Everyone wanted to know "what car is that?" Probably due to the BSM accenting the M2 lines which, IMHO, are superior to the M4. Someone earlier commented on the mirror like finish of BSM with ceramic coating and that it might be too much! They may be correct. The 2 pictures clearly show, perhaps a bit more than in real life, how the car reflects the surrounding light. This may also explain why BSM augments the M2 lines! The first pic was the day before delivery and pre prep. The car looked Black and you see this nicely in the picture. The white reflection on the sides from the wall in the back is very obvious. When I then picked up the car next day in the Dealer's Delivery/prep center, under fluorescent artificial lighting, probably fluorescent, maybe LED, the color actually looked dark gray, like a dark MGM. I remember thinking this looks like a very light black! . Once outside the true black was again evident. It will however reflect the blue sky and lighten up a bit as you walk around the car (you can see that in the second pic). But the reflections definetly highlight the car lines. That said, BSM may not be for everyone. Certainly I have not yet had the opportunity to compare colors side by side. I seriously considered LBB, AW, and MGM; in fact I went into this not wanting black, I have a cosmos 95 M3and jetblack 94 325is, but in the end I picked BSM and I think I made the right choice for me Last edited by reppucci; 07-08-2016 at 05:58 AM..
