You've got 2 choices for the allen wrench - Order a standard 'L" style off of amazon and hack off the small bit, then use ratchet w/ lots of extensions (wobble extensions help here) and a 5mm socket or try and buy one with the socket portion already attached.

Sorry for the late reply but to me it looks like the car is making less torque in most of the powerband, except the very end. Am I reading the graph wrong?

I already bought the pipe.
Some videos say the breather hose will likely crack during the install so I am seeing to order that part before doing it. Last edited by Oktom2; 05-14-2021 at 07:13 PM.. |

you could. but i imagine the gains are minimal. the OTS tunes already give more power up top. if you had the inlet coupled with a bigger turbo then yeah 100% custom tune will help.

Technically yes. You would have more headroom to make more power based on a lower WGDC and flow, but it wouldn't be much. Running something like the BM3 E30+ tune would basically tap out the turbo, so there wouldn't be much more to give.

Both my AA downpipe and MST inlet + diverter are all ready to go next week. Are they at all close to each other in a way that would be advantageous to do them together offering more space for the DV and inlet install?
I know the DP isn’t that hard to install….and the inlet “a challenge”. I’m just wondering coz otherwise I can get that both done together. Or is the only similarity is that they are both on the passenger side of the car? Last edited by vrooooom; 07-24-2021 at 01:35 AM.. |

Diverter valve I believe is low down, it's a pain to get the last screw out even for a mechanic, no where near turbo inlet so it's an irrelevance when factoring installation approach. |
