Some updates - Front Tension Arm Bushings and Sway bar links were replaced - suspension should handle a bit sharper with these mods, along side with the drop.

275s look stretched funny enough. I'd have gone 0.5" narrower on the rear wheel and put a little more meat on those bones but to each their own. I just don't think the wheels are being done justice. 275s belong on 9.5" width wheels. So at 10.5 the stretch is looking a little weird. Any more than 275 and you're probably rubbing though.. I'd probably do like the 9.5 rears 275/35 and fronts maybe 8.5 on 255s.
Does make you realize how awful the stock M2 wheels look. I am convinced BMW has lost its mind, considering they could probably just hire BBS as they have done in the past to make a decent looking wheel for the car. The FI are arguably one of the best looking wheels on this generation of M cars.

I have 6 cars with Expel its great stuff- not cheap but when its on you cant tell- negatives is that while it protects your body against MOST rocks and debris- the road "stuff" can "embed" in the plastic or "bunch it up " a bit where it got hit, and looks a little old over time - but you can always replace it every 2 years or so- but that is money of course. But your paint is probably 90+% OK and thats the main point.

Looks amazing! I'm glad to see you got the wheels to fit nicely with the drop. I have a set of wheels very similar to your specs but a tiny bit more aggressive. Would you be willing to share your alignment specs?

Wow, the drop just perfected the look, perfect setup!
![]() Edit: with the drop now, do you think fitting 265 section fronts and 285 section rears would be possible? |
