Yes, it does/will in the U.S. See post #65 above. These appear to be early prototype cars.

I thought the standard exhaust was awesome. Pops, snaps, and gargles a plenty, sounded nasty on down shifts. It's sounds almost twice as good as the PE on my 135is. If I were getting one I would hold off on the performance exhaust for a little until the stock exhaust got broken in however I still have yet to hear a M2 w/ PE. These cars we were driving had less than 2k miles.

Me too.

Weird thing about the new NSX. I haven't even seen one in person yet.
But I'm already bored by the styling. The lead designer is a drop-dead gorgeous California blonde (woman).
But the car's styling kind of leaves me cold.
(See Jay Leno's Garage for an interview with the lead designer.)

That looks so boring. I want to go to the cca event next week but I would be drifting all those sweeping turns but don't think they'll let you lol

I'm out in la Quinta and headed to dinner drove alongside a caravan of New Jersey plated BMWs. Orange 1M up front, dark red X5M in back and LBB M2 in between them. LBB looked very teal out in the sun but I gotta say, that car had some serious presence. Looked really awesome. I passed them as they were slowing to get on the freeway (headed to thermal I assume) so didn't get to hear any good noises, but pretty sweet seeing it rolling in the flesh. I'm a big F80 fan but the M2 looked MUCH better in person than I thought it would

I'm certain that's it. Looking forward to seeing one in person.
(Note: I have always been repulsed by the Acura corporate "beak" aka "can opener" grille.)

While I haven't looked at all the replies, the only thing I don't like about the M2 are those damn mirrors. So standard BMW :

I was at this event too and had a similar opinion about the m2's iron brakes vs the ccb's.
Not taking anything away from the M2's brakes, I didn't experience any fade from them at all, and stopping power was the same, they never got soft or anything like that, but jumping from those straight to the CCB's, you can really feel the difference with the CCB's.

It's not really a performance difference, it just has more to do with the feel of the pedal when braking hard. It's difficult to describe since it's not something you can measure, but the CCB's felt a little more firm and gave me more confidence when braking hard, and that feeling was more pronounced since we were driving them back to back.

Haha. I started to drift the M2 during the autocross session and got a stern talking to over the radio. They didn't want anything tot happen to the limited amount of M2's they had on site.

I agree completely. Basically they feel like they have stronger initial performance with not as much pedal travel, so you usually have room to ask for a little more from the Carbon Ceramics. But ultimately the braking performance of the M2 and M4 in an emergency stop was very similar if not identical. Though I will also say the only time I went off track was in an M4 with carbon ceramics. I kept it on pavement, but there was a double-apex right hander, where you trail brake through the first apex up to the turn-in code for the second apex. I carried too much speed through the first apex and even the carbon ceramics were not going to slow me down. I had to let the car roll out over the rumble strips and go around the second turn-in cone to avoid hitting it.

I can't remember which pad the 94 325i I raced in chump had, I think it was the Performance Friction Carbon Metallic. I feel like a pad like that on the M2 would hold its own against the Carbon Ceramic's lap after lap. I must say though, my knowledge of track worthy pads is very limited.
