That's a great idea. I'm in Laguna Hills, so we're really close. Just spent this afternoon cruising PCH with the new setup and I love it. That is going to be wild catless, my car is already making wild cracks on full throttle upshifts.

Picked up my car from EAS this morning! What an awesome experience. Kevin has been awesome to work with the last few months as I stockpiled parts at the shop. The install was top notch, everything is super solid and feels great.
The exhaust sounds amazing and is nice and loud when I want it (but I am still tempted to add the Dinan muffler section for a bigger difference between valve open and valve closed, tone, and aesthetics), the suspension feels great (although I think I will go a few clicks softer when I get an alignment after the springs have a chance to settle), all the carbon looks amazing, and it's so nice to finally get rid of all the chrome. I'm going to start a build thread, but will be adding pics of the car with the mods on once I get it detailed. |

Recently I changed the cabin air and engine air filter. Looks like the engine air box has some sand and crap down in it but I didn't open it enough to clean it, for now.
Car is sitting over 40k miles now. Warranty up in January. Should I attempt to get BMW to look at the car and find anything to fix? |

Good for you, that you've made it this far Before your warranty expires, I suggest you run a invasive fault reader, like ISTA or Bimmerlink, to see if there are any shadow codes lingering, within the vehicle's BUS network, which might not be readily displayed. Right before my warranty expired, oblivious to me because it showed no obvious signs, my battery was bad and my driver's seat bass speaker was blown. I only realized this after I ran a ISTA control tree test and discovered these defects and had them immediately repaired under the factory warranty. Had I waited two months later to do so, I would of missed the boat of having them covered under my warranty period. |

Retrofitted to the 2020 blackline tails. If anyone with an OG is looking to do this, I recommend getting the black line versions from the 2020 CS/comp onwards.

Picked up the M2 on Saturday. I'll be making a more extensive build thread this weekend, but I decided to throw up the basic before and after shots here.

Nice! Not sure I want to have a panel shop that I'm so familiar with that I refer to it as "my panel shop" lol

Lol, no nothing like that. Aside from my own cars, I have a motorsport development business & have been using the same shop for the past 20 years (good people & good work).

That's the TRE lip from AutoID. It was expensive (a little over a grand shipped), but I absolutely love it. I had already bought the R1 lip, but saw the TRE one and decided to sell the R1. I think it is the best looking lip for the car. |

Not exactly what I did, more what I didn't do.
I did not take care to park directly underneath the bright light and parking lot camera. |

Today....she got a new VRSF charge pipe as I blew the stock one yesterday while driving home. This should be a MUST FIX on all BMW w/N55s. Was not surprised as I blew the charge pipe on my 2013 135i as well.
Shout out and a big THANK YOU to the guys at Davie Motorsports. |

My worst nightmare! I always have dark tint and always leave my car completely empty. The only thing that they could steal is a copy of my registration lol

Today, I made the decision to reallocate my savings for n55 pure stage 2 turbo and pay off my little sisters remaining college debt from her last semester. After running across another forum member who is donating his M2C after his new g80 comes, I realized that us car people sometimes get caught up in our cars and don't give back enough. As a young adult, I couldn't imagine a better Christmas gift than someone paying my bills/debt.
Happy holidays, everyone!
