An update on the project - it's taken a while but the car is fully sorted now suspension wise. Been testing the car for 2 days at the ring, we did 7.10-7.15 laps consistently with 2 people full tank (most of the time) and old direzzas in medium traffic. So this is looking very good now to do the sub seven. The car wasn't pushed to limit and the tyres had gone off, was loosing a lot of traction out of the corners but still getting 7.10-7.15 time, the car felt really stable and progressive. The weight saving was massive - because car was light and direction change was very noticeable :-) back out soon with new tyre and hopefully track conditions right a single person lap.
