It didn't kick down to 7300. It went down to 4000 or so but I kept it floored and finally decided to shift at 7300. Is our red line really 7300?

As a whole, they work very well. Depends on the type of car seat. For boosters, it works flawlessly. On my 335, after 3 years, NO marks left on the seat. My other seat is a front facing child seat, which utilizes the latch system and requires itself to be really "strapped" down. After 3 years, that seat left indentations on the back rest part of the rear seat, and I probably could have avoided that with an additional towel in between the car seat and the rear seat (there's a small portion not covered by the Lion Heart seat protector). Almost as important is a guard they make for he back of the FRONT seats. Because as you may or may not know, kids LOVE to kick the seats in front of them! -c

Site claims to be under construction, but use the form to contact the seller who is pretty quick to respond. Here is the M235 related thread which shows how the cable is installed. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=884959 |

It's a bit shorter than stock, so it "feels" like the throws are a bit shorter. Others here have mentioned it feels cheap; well, it is lighter than the stock knob, so perhaps they have a point. I personally like the shape of the MP knob (more cylindrical than stock); it's very similar to the one I have in my S2000. That's why I got it -c
