Looks like a man with moderate skills could easily modify a Oe bottom tray to achieve pretty much the same results.....hmmm I bet an EAS group buy tho would be very well received. . Last edited by M2C AW; 01-26-2019 at 01:46 PM.. |

Count me in for interest in a group buy for the tray/plates as well...
Although I wish the backing plates were full diameter for the hose, it looks "squished" in the pics Maybe this tray with the backing plates DrKev used would be killer The tray looks really promising Last edited by rjn; 01-27-2019 at 06:36 PM.. |

Seeing this beautiful carbon tray gives me the idea to try and use a set of NACA ducts on the factory plastic tray. It would be way cheaper and even lower profile. I'll have to get under the car and see how much room is left on top of the tray...

I examined using NACA ducts in the undertray when I first contemplated this project. There is absolutely no room to accommodate them.

According to Realoem, M2 n55 uses different lower shroud (item #2) on m2 means no brake ducts (item #3) as per lesser F2x 2 series.
Makes me wander if retrofitting m235i lower shroud behind m2 bumper might allow space to retrofit oem brake ducts into the m2 inner wheel liners ??? Thoughts/views welcome

Shame RevZport don't sell their M2 Raze splitter components separately....
I'd buy the ducted top part of their kit...

Hello everyone!
Started a new job so haven't had time to have a look. So attached are pics of the pipes, and measured the diameter. Also a random pic of the stock back plate on front brake if you wanted to see it. |

Does the backing plate have the airflow directed at the rotor or at the veins in the center of the rotors. Important to know as the best design wouldnt cool just one side of the rotor but evenly across the entire rotor otherwise the rotor is subject to premature failure. ie cracking

This M2Comp MPerf style splitter to suit OGM2 maybe a better option with brake duct openings that look like they'll work with BP-E undertray brake ducts https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...4b0f432fnH7AMg
