I use to mod a Mazdaspeed 3 back in my younger days, but nowadays, I do not have the time or space to do so. I just want a special vehicle that harkens back to pure driving emotions that I can keep for a long time. The back seats are a huge plus in my book in case I need to haul passengers. And like I previously state, a Porsche GT4 or even base 992 is priced too high or lacking comparable equipment. In fact, I'm actually bummed that there is not a heated steering wheel haha. Hey, I want some modern luxuries too

BMW will reduce SKU and since they have already got tons of stock of adaptive parts they will very likely discontinue the original and put adaptive across the M2 range as the M4 sunsets. Another reason for adding adaptive to the CS is that it matches up with the competition in marketing. Camaro 1LE and GT500 both have adaptive/magnetic setups along with other competitors. |

Call me vain but I still would like a M2 CS because of its exclusivity but I'm not delusional; those carbon fiber pieces reduces no meaningful weight and the M2 in all variants are not track cars, so I would prefer a sunroof that I could blow weed smoke out of, while staring at the moonlight.. |

Sorry 83k for an m2? No way. I'd buy a couple year old Carerra S or save 50% and get an m4.

BMW cannot put the horses back in the barn. The S55 is already in the M2C. Really, the perfect storm of circumstances for BMW as - due to environmental emission laws - a generational ///M car was born. Tell me anyone at BMW ever planned or saw this coming?!
BMW should run with the irony and apply it to their advantage with the 'limited release' M2CS model. How? BMW can (1) adhere to CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Consumption) laws, AND (2) give M2 owners true exclusivity with a 'limited release' M2CS model by taking a page out of the Porsche playbook. As Porsche did with the 718 GT4, BMW should put a NAF6 in the M2CS. ///AVM |

I remember just a few years ago, when I had now purchase a 135i, the next year before they sunset the model, they released the 135is with all the bells and whistles, stock. Also, the latest insider information has confirm that all future G80/82 M4s will have Adaptive Suspension standard. It seems BMW has realize the benefits of having electronically manipulate dampers and are using them across the board, now that cost has subsidize and it's a good way to entice the last few potential buyers of the M2 F-series model, before the next generation. |

Speaking of adaptive suspension, why doesn't BMW make the comfort setting as comfortable as an X5. And obviously much more harsh in the sport setting.
I've experienced comfort setting in a few and and it is still pretty harsh to begin with on rougher roads.

I’m ok that it’s a parts bin car - it’s just too expensive at 84K.
