I can confirm that I got the updated Girodisc rings in the kit that I ordered from Bimmerworld in December.

Valid concern. The hats are standard F8x spec. The changes made to the initial G8x 380x36 rotor rings have actually been implemented as a running production change for all G8x 380x36 rings (replacement for G8x and 2NH application) as of October 2025 - this was told to me by Phil at BW when we were discussing the issues because I had the same concerns.

I don’t think replacement hats/rotor rings will be an issue keeping this in mind.

After speaking with Track/S when I was having issues initially and considered swapping everything to Paragons — I found out that the Paragons were actually designed with the bracket in mind hence the fitment being spot on without issues. I probably would have gone with that set up from the beginning if I knew but regardless I am happy my set up works great now.

Honestly I would be more concerned about which 18" wheels have the best fitment, as opposed to which rotor package is better.

By the way everyone, I managed to get FCP to stock the G8X rotors from Girodisc

Btw that's my M2C getting the brakes laser scanned. I'm relatively close to their office so I brought it in to confirm fitments.
