I'm waiting for April 1st to go post this on a Rennlist board. "Evo realizing their mistake, to rescind M2 CS eCOTY and name GT4 with PDK Evo car of the year for 2020"
Nerd moment here. Could the 718 GT4 PDK be eligible for 2021 or would it be considered the same car (albeit manual) that won in 2019 and not eligible? I suspect the later.

Early bet the 2021 winner could be the just released 911 GT3 ...

I still can't believe the M2CS won. Some mega cars came out during 2020.

The manufacturers have stepped up their games.

Porsche in 2021 with a sub 7 min Ring time in a regular GT3. What a great time to be alive !

No kidding. M2CS won because of its character. That's why we have so many butthurt bench racers. I still stand by my assessment that the M2CS gives me the same driving pleasure as a GT3 from the perspective of how it feels to drive. The CS has some added get up and go. Sure, the CS doesn't have the same sound or performance limit, but I'm not a professional driver. I couldn't exploit the limits of either so they both poke about the same region of satisfaction.

Precious few will have the luxury of choosing between these two coupes .. simply won't overlap in time. As Mike stated, CS getting close to sold out in U.S.

Biggest issue with the new m4 and every previous M3 is the depreciation. I know if I'm buying a M4 for 100k, it'll be 60k in 2 years.

Whoa, I didn't even know what an M4 sold for....I had lost interest in new BMW's for a long time. The M2 brought me back and the m2CS has made me stay.

I built a "regular" G80 M3 6 speed for about $85K. I think closer to $90K with the carbon seats, which are awesome.

The weight and the grille kept me away from that choice, and of course the depreciation.

I'm sure the new generation of M buyers will love it, but I'm old school.

Same here! I spec'ed an M4 base manual out to $92k. And for the exact same reasons, I decided on the M2 CS

If the front wasn’t so bad, this would be a great M5, just change the 3 to 5 on the badge, and voila! Slightly wider, but slightly shorter, same weight, more power.....

Most of the cars sitting on AT right now have ADM even though they show as MSRP. There is a game of chicken between dealers and buyers right now. Dealers know it is a limited car and are trying to cash in. Buyers know the pricing was already at the upper limit of what people were willing to pay for a 2 series based car and there is not much interest in paying ADM.
