My experience of the Brussels auto show is that most of the spokesmen don't know a lot when going into detail. I even doubt there is a M-specialist.

1. Tell me about it, the guy was not really clear and did not know all the right things to say 2. UK is a special market, especially because of the limited number 3. Alcantara felt good. Nicely. The CF is a bit cheap. It is not the glossy stuff from the M4 or what is used on the outside. This was a DCT. 4. Already answered that one 5. They did not know anything about the M Performance coil overs. MR |

Sounds like the it usually does, show staff without real knowledge as there are a few errors in the answers... How hard can it be to find a person with real knowledge about the car?

So what are we concluding from this? That the guy completely didn't know what he was talking about and it is the same turbo as the 235i.... or is it an upgraded twin scroll single?

Great post and pics!
From the exterior pics, it looks like there is not much room/need for wheel spacers...seems like the wheel wells are pretty much filled out. |

Reading all these comments above... One BMW spokesperson doesn't know what the other says, or hasn't got a clue. It is amazing that just saying "I do not know" isn't an option.
Feels like making people happy with a dead bird... I feel like that a bit after hearing all these things that were incorrect. You do wonder what kind of crap this guy is telling to people at the gala dinner tonight. #help MR Last edited by MR.; 01-12-2016 at 04:04 PM.. |

Well, if this is the case then I am pleasantly surprised. This solidifies the M2 as my next purchase. Thanks for the info!

I told you this would happen a few weeks ago when you asked people what questions you should ask the representative. :roll eyes: You were wasting your time, just like I predicted. |
