Ya, I see it but that doesn't discredit the idea the M2 should have gotten a better turbo. M240 gets a completely new powerplant, M3/4 get their own developed engine/ turbos. The M2s component's R&D were mostly accounted for in the M3/4 and BMW couldn't even develop a new turbo for the M2? Tuners are finding that the turbo is near its limits and that should not be the case. It worked in the 1M because the N54 with its twins were over developed. That's not to say the M2 isn't a great car, but it definitely could have been better. I am still a potential buyer, but will most likely wait to see what the M2 CS has to offer.

6mt or dct? You'll be able to at the minimum get what you paid and eat the tax. Also if you're planning on a 991.1 the price will be dropping in the short term. Lastly they will always make cars that will out preform if your looking for more wait until dinnan gets there stuff out the #s will be insane compared to the price jump into the Porsche. Dinnan is warranty ed as well

My advice would be to drive the car and enjoy it.You just finished breaking the car in and now you can push the car to the limit. The M240i isn't going handle like the M2.There are plenty of cars that have more torque than an M2.Just drive the car fast and have some fun.

Mine is DCT. Sales tax is almost 9% and I got the car wrapped. So yeah, not exactly in a rush to give someone a good deal.

Anyway, most people in the M240i thread are loving the auto x drive vert. Two totally different cars...one is a low revving high torque stump pulling 4000#(vert) with sub par handling. The other is a high revving, high HP(same tq), wide bodied scalpel that carves it's way through the twisties! They both have their buyers, I know which this fanboy prefers.
