Looks good, cant wait to see the production version. Still cant decide if it is/will be ///M worthy.

So is the speculation that there will be a open scoop in front of the rear wheel? Sounds like there will be an opening at the rear of the front wheel just like the M3/4.

These pics are great, I can almost imagine what the final car will look like and I like it! Rotor glow shots are great too! Good M2 news day.
Still on my wishlist: CFRP roof and trunk. And I'm willing to pay for these as separate options if needed! |

i don't think it was supposed to capture the feel of the e46. it was essentially a lighter e9x m3 with the n55. it sure as hell was a huge success.

I'm wondering why on some of the pictures the gas cap door cut-out is rectangular as expected and on some it's circular. Not the same prototypes I presume?

I agree it is unlikely at this point, but on this color car could you really tell if it was CF or not from these pictures?

Yea, because all new CF roof has a double bubble design. Pretty easy to spot, even from far away.

If you look, the aerial positioning is also different. So perhaps we will see the round fuel filler cap being intro'd on LCI models. |

That decision is not yours. Only BMW M decides if it's an M car, and once they do, then it is. No ifs, ands, or buts allowed. |

Artemis... so it begins... again...
But honestly, the more these lines become apparent, the more it seems to be different than the M235i. The M2 will be the most serious looking M. I am calling it now. Look at the red lines. They are new and different from the softer looking M235i. That will be the difference. It is the pronounced intake vents that thus generate this creasing at the bottom of the headlight inwards. |

I figure if we drag this out long enough, it'll be time for the Frankfurt Auto show by then. This pic is flat out amazing to me:
