Curious also. Plus interested in how it works in general, insurance and all that.

How's that saying go? Having a nice car and not driving it because you want to keep miles low for the next owner is like having a hot girlfriend and refusing to have sex with her because you're saving her for the next guy.
I'm at 42K miles.

Dang that's awesome! Good to see how durable and reliable the m2 is seeing I know how hard you drive this thing.

I guess I also have to repost this since it was deleted after the troll got removed, but my personal m2 has 9,000 km due to it being a summer car. I would like to drive it more but transit for me is really convenient because it stops right in front of my office and I can avoid traffic.

Otherwise I normally just use my m2 for a weekend car, and my suv does the job if I go shopping.

2017 M2 - 120,000
San Diego California Issues? 1 item is the fuel pumps. I've had (4) failures/warnings from new. It has been inspected, software updated and so far has been solid for a while now again. I suspect poor fuel, low fuel levels and long driving distances and long periods of operation as causes. I get a powertrain warning, pull off and shut down, then restart. Some guys, like myself, will keep things exceptionally nice for as long as they can to keep the "newness", it's called pleasure delaying. Having said that, I don't worry about my mileage, but have only driven 6,500 miles in 1.5 years of ownership. |

The one thing I miss about my car from brand new was the truly matte finish on the steering wheel leather. I have babied, obsessed over, and kept it exceptionally clean but in 40K miles it's just not like it once was. c'est la vie, I guess!

You know what's funny. I've had my older photography described as "automotive boudoir" by more than one person. So I guess they're ladies to me as well. Same. My 2006 Exige with 35K on the clock looks brand new. |

Are we just going to casually gloss over the guy who said he has 80,000+ miles on his M2? I need to know what the issues or lack thereof there were!

I'm the same way haha! I've got two spare ZHP shift knobs stashed away for when my current one gets too shiny and worn lol.
