B58 vs S55

I currently own a B58 440i and the M2C. You far and away made the correct purchase. Don’t sweat the extra money spent because the endless smile on your face while driving it will wipe away the memory of the purchase price so make sure you write down now how much you paid!��. As a wise friend and mentor of mine told me when I was younger “ Don’t spend less, make more!” Enjoy it!

People used to say it happened to DCTs more, but the survey on the F8x forum doesn't really bear that out. This is BS. It’s happened to lots of cars, and only a tiny fraction were money shifts. You can’t even money shift a DCT.

Happens more often on DCT's on start-up. It absolutely isn't a misshifting issue.
