Maybe you guys are already clear on this, but I doubt this size works in the rear on a lowered car with the OEM wheels. I’m guessing you’ll have rubbing under compression without more camber and rear offset.
I’m doing 295/30 in the rear in a couple weeks, but it will be on a 19x10.5 ET45 wheel. |

To me the oem rear wheel would actually have better clearance in this situation? |

From the pics, it looks like a 295/30 on OEM wheels would rub the fender under compression if the car is lowered. |

You’re extending rubber on both sides with the setup I mentioned and it barely impacts track. I don’t live down under but I highly doubt the regulators understand a couple mm one way or another.

Would make sense as there does look to be a little ‘bulge’ to the 295/30 tyre on the oem wheel.

Just got my 295/30 installed. Holy shit are these beefy and intimidating. Gotta remove the spacers as it bulges out too much.

Michelin PS4S. Still have the stock 245 up front as there's still significant meat on them. The rears lasted one "season" because of the car's ridiculous torque.

How do the rears look? Any rubbing issues? Is there much more understeer from such a F/R tire difference?

They look gangsta from the rear, no rubbing. I don't notice understeer on the street. Check out Porsche and their f/r differences...I believe the 911 (one of their 1000 variants) has a similar setup.
