No bud. I have never owned a draggy or such. I have had many custom maps on the car and that felt the fastest on the standard turbo. It was quick

Obviously you’re going to blow this away with your TTE550.
But just to add another data point for everyone, I just drove my buddy’s M2 with stock turbo, XDI-35, and TTFS 93 octane tune, and my Stage 1 Dorch, Dinan turbo, half E85, and Halim’s new OTS Stg 2+ E30-40 was quite a bit quicker. On a side note his suspension (M Perf) and exhaust (Akra) was much better than mine! |

I picked up 80whp on the same dyno/same day bn the stock map and FBO + Dinan turbo with half E85 in the tank, and the new Stg 2+ E30-40 with same hardware and fuel and just switching between maps. It looked like the FBO hardware on the stock map + E85 in the tank was giving me 25whp vs everything stock/stock, so >100whp gain overall is not a bad showing! I’m guessing the Dinan turbo only adds 5-10 peak whp vs the stock turbo with this tune, but gives a decent bit more power under the curve in the upper RPMs while keeping the spool instant. We’ll know soon once we get a stock turbo dyno on the new map. The guys with bigger turbos are seeing much, much bigger gains. Last edited by ZM2; 09-25-2020 at 07:50 AM.. |

A 80whp delta is great, I think these 2+ maps will be the sweet spot for me. It would be cool to see some rolling dragy numbers on your car, from my experience a little more area under the curve even with similar peak figures can make a decent difference. The oem turbo seems to hold 20psi to redline going off the virtual dyno logs posted by the other user testing the new OTS, pretty impressive. |

I'll be getting my Dorch stage 2 HPFP, Fuel-It LPFP & Bluetooth flex fuel analyzer all installed next Tuesday I will also be hitting the dyno the week after next to get stock tune w/ FBO, e30 OTS map, and Halim's new e40 tune runs to see what kinds of gains can be made on stock turbo, FBO & upgraded fueling.
I'll be upgrading to Pure stage 2 when they get my turbo shipped in next 3-4 weeks and I'll do another couple of dyno pulls as well. |

Yeah, if I can reach 450whp on stock turbo, I'd be impressed. Though, I have a feeling that would really be stressing out this little turbo. Either way, I wouldn't try to run it at that power level...more like 425-430whp would be more feasible on stock turbo imho. I just want to be at about 500-525whp & 550wtq. If I can get that on e40-e50 w/ Pure stage 2 and my other upgrades, I'll be completely satisfied...then I can finally be "done" modifying this car...maybe |

Has anyone had any problems with the Spool hpfp? My shop chose to use that over XDI and has been having problems with the pump not delivering sufficient fuel at idle. Spool is sending a replacement but my confidence is not high right now in Spool (or the shop).

I did have a similar issue. Effectively the pump was turning off at idle so the fuel pressure was dropping to low 100psi instead of around 1,200-1,300 (from memory - haven't looked at logs in months).
As ZM2 said, the issue wasn't present when running the OTS E30 mix tune with the correct HPFP selected in BM3. Come to think of it, just changing the HPFP settings to the Dorch pump on the custom tune also fixed it. The tuner eventually fixed up the error in their tables that was causing the issue. The pump has been perfect ever since. Definitely try the settings change before you commit to another 3+ hours of labour and increased likelihood of creating a boost leak. |

The tuner said he bought a bootmod license, set it up and selected the Spool pump option but it still didn't work. The tuner is Cedar Performance in Dallas. They have a great reputation so I am sure he'll figure it out but it doesn't give me the warm fuzzies over the pump...
