think im on #9? but also changed some parts around rev 5(?)…pretty much holding 25 now when doing a long pull..it was being tapered before. he was trying to get boost control nailed down. I believe we are going to start turning it up bit by bit now…steve from wedge is either super busy or not very talkative..tried getting info from him & expressed id like to ramp up power thru rpms/opposite of taper…basically didn’t get much feedback other than “heres your new rev”…would still recommend him though as car is running great. stock manners and tons of power up top…
attached is a log in 5th gear…stopped around 5500rpm for obv reasons..cylinder 1 is pulling timing but everything else looks solid..wgdc is low 90’s.. |

Have you got any 4th gear logs? Datazap? Ss? I wonder if your tune is cwg or pid??big difference in spool time. 25 psi is probably the good daily compromise with decent wgdc. Look forward to progress 👍 |

Also all of your lines are unlabeled.

Also it is a huge pain to trace a line to the axis to try and interpret the data value, no one is going to waste their time doing that. And of course which line is what (pictures don't allow you to remove irrelevant data lines which means clutter and garbage further skewing the y axis scale and making it harder to read the log)? That's the biggest problem here.

Car did great. Ended up popping off a coolant line when things got very hot and almost overheated the engine but luckily it was fine.

Reading all posts I see several mentioning the TS plumb back BOV. Is this recommended to use by others without issues? 3rd gear WOT pulls on Rev3 near 19psi is resulting in Blow Off valve Clamped shut fault code numerous times. Goal is 23-24psi for stock engine. Any recommendations any can offer? Should I reseat it? Check the spring? Seems finicky but always seems to pop when I take the car to or near redline and don’t want to damage the turbo. If anyone else has recommendation for alternatives that do not vent to atmo also, thank you. Obviously nothing the tuner can do as they’re simple mechanism but they say the car is running fine despite this fault popping. I’ve confirmed with pure that the DV appears to have been oriented properly on the turbo. Do I need the vr11? I see folks saying the vr9 is no good.
I also see a few others reporting hitting peak boost or near at 4,000 rpm. But mine hardly starts spooling until 3,700-4,000 in sport mode. Is this 20psi range being achieved at 4,000 on the n55 or a different engine? What can I do to reduce turbo lag and get it spooling earlier in RPM range? I don’t think I got the larger inlet inner diameter despite buying the inlet from pure through kies who then orders it from pure which is disappointing. As many others also report, the turbo takes a bit to build up but hits hard and holds all the way to redline. Amazing feeling that my tires are so planted but that will change as boost goes up with more Revs. so happy with it overall. Just struggling to work through some pesky issues. Next up on the journey once tune and DV are sorted is suspension, SPL parts full front setup, rear traction arms, end links, and H&R sway bars front rear before getting further into it. Target WHP 550-600. N55 335i MHD - custom CTS intake Pure silicone inlet Pure 750 turbosmart Kompact EM Plumb Back VR9 - should I get VR11? Stock turbo to FMIC CP - I bought VRSF billet piece but it didn’t fit well enough and clips didn’t fit proper enough my mechanic was wary of installing. VRSF intercooler (not 7.5”) VRSF charge pipe NGK 0.022-0.023 plugs Stock Bosch coils DS1.5 HPFP Fuel It Stage 3 stock LPFP w/ Walbro 525 2nd - dedicated wiring 30a fuse to battery Hobbs 4psi switch - triggering walbro AWE downpipe AWE Midpipe AA axle back exhaust |

Did you log any data from your session(s)? Which line did you pop off? Who tuned your car?

Who is your tuner? I absolutely believe you can have full spool by 3500RPM, but what do I know, I'm a guy behind a screen. |

in 4th gear on mine. 3500rpm is 15/16psi then by 4k im at 20, 4200 im at 27ish..4th gear pull…Not sure what your issue is exactly, but you’re going to need injectors and likely a liftkit. Unless you keep emix really low. Maybe it can work
