Was the update just specifically for your car? Or did they update it on bm3 maps as well? Coz ive been getting that chirp too.

I think mine specifically.. Chris from Dorch is working on a update now. Should be out real soon.
Apparently those noises are from the fuel rail/system

More Daleb than me. I think JKen_0115 was also working on this.

So weird/highly coincidental that mine went away when the dealer replaced my tension pulley & belt, thinking that was it.

Glad it’s fixed!

Forgot the logs in case someone would like to comment on them
I have send them to PTF also but havent heard back yet.
Everything looks good, but I would do some logs to redline in each gear and take another look.

I'm at 105/110 mph at that RPM range.
Does altitude make that much of a impact?

question for you guys:

does the stage 2+ maps really target 12.7 to 12.9 afr at redline?
what timing advance is this map targeting does anyone know?

i just tried the stage 2+ and the cars a beast! but i fear my e30 mix is not enough for this map. my timing starts breaking up after 6000 rpms. i will add more ethanol and relog. and the throttle closure at tip in is driving me nuts lol but i understand this is a tune issue at this time?

Most of us have had the best results with E45-50 mix. Half pump gas/half E85 is an easy way to go.

Try more E and re log. The stock turbo is dead above 6000rpm so revving past that is pointless. Your log is nice and clean up to this point.

Ideally the stock turbo guys would need their own map with boost targets tapering off a few psi to redline from 6000 imo, but again i doubt that would translate to quicker car. Just a cleaner log.

Thanks will do. I thought I was going to 6000 (self imposed redline) but I see I was like 500 rpm of.

Thank you for your input! I guess it makes sense why the timing starts breaking up at 6k rpm. Turbo is just blowing hot air! I will add a little more ethanol and start teaching myself to shift earlier.

yup more ethanol did the trick. cleaned up the logs real nice. i threw in about 3 ounces of boostane for good measure lol

https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6077...729b05a6a058d3

thanks for your input daleb and zm2

i had a friend clock my 100-200 and it was 8.8 (
shifting around 6k rpms), presumably could be better or worse coz of my friends response time lol. i have to get a dragy to get an official one and i will share it here

8.5s in 100-200 is a great time for the stock turbo with any setup. Did your friend clock your 100-200 time with a passenger in the car (or is he the passenger)?

I am on STG2 turbo running at 18psi of peak boost on 98RON/93AKI pump gas (430whp on dynojet) and get low to flat 8s in winter and middle 8s in summer.

I think the monstrous mid range torque with these ethanol map helps a bit punching above its weight class.

I think the midrange helps massively with the on road performance and times.

The n55 definitely loves cool ambients and the closer to zero degrees celsius it gets the quicker our cars go.

Based on my 7.9 100-200 id expect a few more tenths off in near 0 condition in a best case scenario.

there was just one passenger in the car. i think if i was alone a couple more tenths of a second can be had!

definitely punches way above its weight class. there was a 100-200 list by a youtube channel called autotopnl and the time i got is on par with a lambo urus, 718 GT4 and tuned rs3 among others lol so im very happy with the setup right now!

Yeah, I never did find open road on a cold day to redo my 7.7s 100-200 with better shift points. Def looked like a 7.5 was possible!

It feels good, doesn't overpower the chassis either. The maps capable, lets see what your car does when you get a dragy.

For sure, your car definitely had more in it. I've been so busy with work and the few days I have had to myself haven't been dry.

Got some 18" protrack wheels coming so I'm interested to see if the smaller rolling radius will reduce times at all. Not the reason for getting them but it would be nice if it does.

Retried launch control, this time with revs set down to 3k, and boy did she move! Drag racing isn’t my thing, but I’ll have to try a 0-60 draggy sometime.

In the meantime, every time I finish a drive I think, “Man, what an f’ing great car!”

I notice that when I begin to accelerate the car seems to hiccup / miss slightly it then pulls cleanly to 6000. Is this a known issue ?

share a log, sounds like misfire or low hpfp pressure
