Is there any coding needed when upgrading from the little blue boys to the big red 2NH calipers?

When I mounted the 2NH on my ex M2 OG I saw no need to code

Are you or others experiencing any pad knockback? How thin are you running your pads?
Wondering if I should proactively install AKB springs.

I haven't tracked with those calipers, but if you can get the springs I would put them in.

Can anyone tell me what calipers I have?
I’ve read that the blue ones are smaller and not the 2nh, but i have the blue and it appears to be 6 pot front and 4 pot rear. Appreciate the help!

*sorry for the dirty and blurry pic…winter wheels and it’s freezing.

Can you upload a pic of the side where the 2 calipers can be seen?

The M5/M6 calipers are the same casting as the 2NH but 5 mm have been milled off of the mounting surface, you can use the 2NH adapters along with a 5 mm spacers if you want to run the 400 mm 2NH discs. There was a thread on here made buy a guy in the UK that figured that out.

I knew this before this thread existed, the thing is that the calipers shown above are from m2c and for m2c they did not exist in blue color.

That's not what you said though, you said the blue ones are from M5/M6. Didn't mention anything about these particular calipers being from a M2C.

These particular calipers are probably re-painted.

I meant that the blue ones were mounted on the M5/M6, they don't look like they were repainted, it's difficult to leave that finish so good.

Not to hijack the 'what calipers are these?' but...

If the M5/6 has same caliprs with 5mm less pad, would those work to allow smaller rotor/wheels (or at least smaller rotor and more wheel clearance on 19s)?

Yes, they are suitable for 390x36mm discs, which nobody else makes

Just catching up on this thread and wow, awesome what all has gone into this! Thanks to those who have contributed to the knowledge. Very interested in fitting 18's and running giro-disc replacement rotors as well. Win-win.

ApexWheels any chance the newer APEX ML-10RT's would fit? My preferred option would be 18x10.5 square but 18x10/18x11 staggered could also work for me.

Curious if there is a certain amount of camber required to fit the 295/30?

I'll soon be running the Tractive Touring suspension with OE-type springs and Millway Motorsport Street camber plates. Was planning -2 to -2.3 up front as this is a dual purpose car.
