Carbon Recaro Podiums installed today, black Alcantara/red leather. Something I should've done a long time ago... They really match the cars athleticism.

Additionally... these seats are somewhat roomy for a "race bucket" boarding isn't bad, and they're very comfortable.

Night and day difference seating is LOW and I feel CONNECTED. In conjunction with the Ohlins R&T these are the best improvement I've made to the driving experience.

Net loss is approximately -22 pounds per seat, with sliders and all hardware installed.

Finally got around to getting my remus sport axle back and active autowerke single midpipe installed. The drive home from the exhaust shop was incredible. Sounds amazing.

Ohlins R&T installed today at their recommended height settings. Car is surprisingly soft and compliant driving home from the shop. I was expected much stiffer. I can already tell that the car is more sure footed. Something I noticed is the car doesn't shift weight as pronounced as before with gear changes. Only driven 15 minutes but I already like it and will tune/adjust after I drive more.

Carbon steering wheel trim installed. Hard to justify the $, even at used prices, but dang it looks good.

Finally got these on, I want to go for a drive and take some better pictures but it's been raining pretty hard and I want to let the sealant I put on cure. Hopefully tomorrow.

I've had a Podium for my driver's seat for about 4 years now. Love it. The most comfortable seat I've ever had. Had it in my GT4 before swapping it to my M2C. Favorite mod of either car.

Stek Carbon Fibre PPF installed on roof. Looks amazing. Work performed by Immy (imst3r.ddr on Instagram).

Thanks! The rails are done in black gloss. The sharkfin is a black gloss molded cap. Gives a fuller roof coverage similar to the CS, which also has a black gloss shark fin. With a sunroof, I hate to say that I don't think it will look quite the same.

Enabled Car Play today. Kubax86 on this forum , sent the details on the code and software.
3 mins, i had it sorted. Fantastic service

Then decided to code out a few items with bimmer code and bimmer link
- auto stop start -> disabled
- artifical sound in cabin - the car doesnt need it, sounds great without it
- burbles - gone .... ( rather listen to the revs roll down smooooth)
- idrive turns off when door opens

to do - >
- mirrors close on exit
- rear running lights - off unless lights are on

Its amazing how a few things change the whole drive experiance.

NCM Track Day

Got it out for a fun track day at NCM in Bowling Green, KY.

First session was a rain soaked track and the R888R tires confirmed that they should never be driven in wet conditions unless you enjoy high stress situations.

The sun came out after that and it got into the 80s and everything started to hook up. Had a few wide open laps and was happy to PR with a 2:30.

Dropped mine off for service this morning. Brake fluid, oil, and spark plugs. I saw some white residue on the coolant expansion tank which I pointed out to the service manager. Coming from an M5 Comp I know this could be an issue. He confirmed this afternoon the tank is seeping coolant so it will be replaced.

Has anyone on the forum had to replace their coolant expansion tank? Like I said, I came from an M5C and know this is a huge issue on the M5. I haven't heard its an issue with the M2C.
