Carbon fibre front splitter was next in the list.
Only a ‘cheap’ one as they all seem to get knocked/bashed/stone chipped to hell. A friend had bought the same one so new the fitment was pretty good. |

Was at Snetterton Thursday.
Car was going great. Had a slight issue with brake judder(going from a std road pad to quite an aggressive track pad so was pad deposit) but all sorted now. |

Ive not updated in a while and thought this would be a good time to post as i have some decent 'content'
A Full used set of AP racing Radical brakes came up at a price i could not turn down so snapped them up and got the fitted up 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears. I know its abit OTT but i wanted a more road bias caliper with dust seals. These had been freshly refured so were perfect. No need to get the calipers painted to match etc. fitted up with RSL29 pads all round and it has improved the braking no end. The car is never pushed to the Absolute limit so its nice to know the brakes can be there when needed. |

Last Month we went on our yearly track day trip to the Nürburgring.
we extended it from the 4 days to 12 day eurotrip. First stop was 'ring'. TF doesnt really appeal to me too much as its very expensive to get insurance so a track day with insurance puts your mind at rest in such a challenging place. Day went great, car was faultless. |

Next on the Trip was to leave Germany and travel down into Switzerland.
Switzerland is a BEAUTIFUL country. Clean, tidy and the people are lovely. We stopped at hotel for the night then travelled up into the Alps to do a few passes including Grimsel pass, Furkapass (james bond hotel) and St Gotthards Pass. |

Next on the trip was into Italy to go to Lake Como for abit of a rest and relax from driving. Spent 3 days at the lake and again a lovely part of the world.
After Lake Como it was bath to the car theme. We drove further down into Italy visiting the Lamborghini Museum(didnt overly rate this VERY expensive for the dozen cars they had on display) Then onto the Ferrari Museum which was better. If your passing/in the arear worth a visit. Imola and Monza were also visited which was great. Monza being in the middle of a public park its great. Can get to lots of parts of the track. And any car person who goes to Monza should pay there respects to the great Senna memorial. Shame there wasn't anything going round these tracks but they were being prepared for up and coming events. We stayed at a hotel in the Imola region which we were very skeptical at first but it was amazing. Barely spoken any english but we managed to get by and the meal we had at the restaurant was one of the best meals ive ever eaten. The Italians def know how to cook!! From Italy we made our way along to Monaco for a day. You think your doing alright for yourself until you go there From Monaco we travlled up into france with the alps did a few more mountain passes. This was on the last leg of the trip and on the way back to the tunnel we stopped of a Remis which is a def stop off for anyone passing. 2500miles 1 trackday 12 tanks of fuel and 12 days we made it home. M2 was impeckable on everything we asked it to do and retuned a average over the whole journey including the track day of 25MPG. Hope you enjoy some of the pictures (i'm no photographer but def might invest in a SLR camera for the next trip again next year |

Amazing adventures to some of the best car centric locales! I’d love to drive at any one of those spots, but this pic is phenomenal.

Within 2hrs of leaving my door I can be into France including crossing the Chanel on the train. Door to door I can be a ‘ring’ within 5.30hrs I’ve done more driving in Europe this year than in the uk. Def says something about the roads and drivers in the uk. Plus there are some epic places to see out there. Le man is def going to be ticked off next year, along with a few more passes in the alps. |

https://r44performance.com/products/mhc-bmw-m2-m2-competition-performance-style-side-skirts-in-gloss-carbon-fibre-f87 I’m not a fan of the winglet style or ones that flick up. Wanted completely straight ones and they are few and far between. So paid up abit for them but it’s want I wanted. Also got them PPF’d so avoid/try and save the clear coat for as long as possible. When I originally bought it I was like it’s too nice and expensive to track….. 6 months later it was on track I’m never the fastest and the car is a lot more capable than what I can drive at but I love it. Did spa and Nurburgring again weekend just passed |

Last European trip of the year completed.
Had Spa francorchamps trackday with circuit days. Was wet/damp for most of the day but a dry line started to appear but just not dry or warm enough to swap over to Cup 2’s (I’m sure a better driver would have been fine but stuck on the 4s’s) |

Nurburgring was the next stop for the last TF of the year.
Again was wet/damp and cold but dried out towards the end of Sunday. 3rd trip this year out there. Car was faultless AGAIN 4 laps completed between myself and my partner. Was def tourist laps due to the weather and wanted to get the car home in once piece. Car will get some earned rest over the winter, start collecting a few parts to be fitted early next year along with another service. Autumn vibes in the pictures and being chased down by his older brother |
