Vorsteiner CF Grill

Bought a set of the V CF grills and ended up getting the dreaded PDC issue. Returning them to get and got a new set, but the new ones have the PDCs protruding out a lot more.

Anyone know if this was part of the "fix" they've made recently to address the PDC sensor issues?

Geez that's horrible, I would return it and get something else.

Here's my https://nwcarbonhaus.com/shop/p/vstylegrill grill, flush as can be and no pdc issues.

The best fix is to not buy Vorsteiner. I would return it and get something similar from NW Carbon or other suppliers with better customer service and quality.

Maybe Vorsteiner can shed some light on this.

My very recent vorsteiner cf grille is just like that with them protruding, they said it was supposed to be that way........Grille looks awesome but poor customer service from vorsteiner. Still getting random PDC alarms while nothing is around. Their official answer was take the bumper back off and pop the sensors out and back in that they werent seated right. Such a piss poor recommendation, considering how anyone with half a brain can see that these can only snap in one way and no adjustment is available. Did it anyway to make sure nothing else was amiss and of course have the same issue when reinstalled. Will never recommend any of their products because of the lack of customer service I received from them(gave me no more info or tips). They acted like some dipshit at a bodyshop could install this better than I could and that I shouldnt have installed it myself. We all know this job would have been given to the lowest guy on the totem pole at the body shop...I was almost in disbelief but knew from the quality of the piece that was their pitch to make you think this was more complicated than it is and that the piece is just really low quality.

Dang what happened to Vorsteiner?

I love the design of their products but it's unfortunate to hear about these quality issues. I typically prefer to support the original designers than knock offs.

I bought the ABS bumper and got it to fit with trimming the foam bar but I never understood why they designed the grille in a way that required that.

Only the early vorsteiner grilles have this issue. They updated it one year ago and should not have this issue again. I know 5 vorsteiner grille owners and none got such issue and they bought recently.

Both sets were purchased recently (Dec '23 and Feb'24) and both have issues with the PDC setting. Reached out to Vorsteiner and was told that this was "normal". Would recommend buyers steering away from these grills as the problem clearly persists.

autotecknik require you to cut foam? Most I see do not not it only seems to be VOR that requires it.

Garage List
Is any trimming of the foam needed on the carbon CSL grille?

Crazy how vorsteiner knock off grill is so much better than the actual vorsteiner

I have the same "issue" with my Vorsteiner CF Motorsport grills where the PDC sensor sticks out a little. I don't think it's anything crazy, and to be honest Vorsteiner's service in swapping out a previous set I bought from a forum member (new) was great.

Too expensive for Vorsteiner parts to put up with bullshit fitment issues like this. Inexcusable honestly.
