For me, it has to be as undetectable as possible. I don't want a broken window!
Stereo theft has been solved with access codes etc. Radar detector theft is still an issue, but if they get their act together and add a code to those then that would be become less a problem too. Having the camera detect an intruder and then be stollen from the car is useless. Mike

Would be nice if you could have a camera that was Wifi connected to cars wifi like a Nest camera. Then if it was stolen at least your video is uploaded to cloud live.

What would the wifi connect to? You'd need a cellular connection , but there's really too much data - multiple gigs per hour recorded.

Interesting how dashcams aren’t that different from each other and unfortunately it appears the vendors aren’t really differentateing themselves via software.
