Car Just Became a Scalpal
When I took the car to Laguna for my first track day with this car, it was raining all day the first day which I love. Dry the second and thinking to my self I always thought this car is too heavy. Too heavy for such a little car. Removed the front passenger and rear seat.
This car should lose another 200 pounds. Got the brake 380mm Paragon set up Square 18X10 40mm offset 10mm spacers up front none on the rears. No rubbing, no nothing. Lost some rotational weight. Eibach springs. The car literarily dances. Light on its feet. So much front end grip. Car goes exactly where I point it effortlessly. I have to relearn the car. I compare everything to my GT4 and this car is every bit as good now and better in some regards. So happy. Hutch Last edited by look585; 04-09-2024 at 01:11 PM.. |

Interesting but I think part of the appeal of an M car is the balance between being a comfortable daily driver as well as capable on the track. Removing the passenger and rear seats kind of defeats the purpose to me but to each their own!

If you think it is a scalpel now you should see how it is when you toss the Eibach springs & get a good setup on there
The CS is for sure a lovely car and glad to see you are using yours properly! You are spot on about the weight - the car changes dramatically as it goes down. The low hanging fruit on weight reduction is mainly in the back half though so definitely keep an eye on the distribution/balance. My street/track M2C is sub 3300 w/DCT and the nimbleness jumps dramatically (until the fuel starvation kicked in ). And love hearing when people enjoy tracking in the wet - it's so much fun! |

I just got the identical wheel setup as you, but with V730 tires. Great to hear your feedback, and excited to try it on track in a few weeks.
