Spark Plugs N55 M2
Hello,
i'm currently running MHD stage 2+, intake , catless DP, intercooler and exhaust, would it be recommended to get NGK one step colder spark plugs or is it not required? would my car run a lot better if i upgraded them.....? just feel like about 1 year after tuning it's been running rough the idle, and i dnt know what it could be, ultimately i read somewhere when adding 70-100 hp it's best to upgrade spark plugs, any help would be appreciated thank you

It seems like a lot of people run the NGK with no issue on modified cars.
People on this forum like to argue that you should just replace with OEM because the M2 shares the same plugs as the S55. (Which is an upgrade from the non M N55. Both seem to perform well as long as gap is correct, and both should help your idle if your current ones are old! I personally will be using NGK’s this year |

From my reading, not my understanding (more limited) the gap adjustment isn't needed at normal time levels, past 550-600hp maybe.
So at my last service my mechanics threw in new Bosch OEM plugs at pit the box gaps and I'm still running mine MHD stage 2+ |
