M2 from OZ

Hi,

Picked up a mint 2017 LBB M2 several weeks ago with 7,000 klms on it.
This car replaces my AMG A45 (below) & joins the Megane RS275 Trophy-R (below), Golf GTI daily, my wife's Audi Q2 & my daughters Hyundai i30N.

*Initial mods so far (@3 months)...

M 666 20" wheels
Michelein PS4S tyres
H&R supersport springs
Acexon inserts
M V2 steering wheel
M Carbon steering wheel insert

The interior was a little better in the AMG, good seats, leather dash, a brake pedal in the correct location etc. The exhaust sound was maybe better on the AMG too although I had Renntech mods on mine. The AWD had both benefits & flaws. From my experience so far the M2 is a much better drivers car & the AMG is a better all rounder. Both great cars.

No idea why BMW use the manual brake pedal in these cars, this is the 4th DCT equipped car we've had (Mercedes, Renault, Audi) & they've always been fitted with an auto pedal box which makes more sense in a 2 pedal car & is much better for any left foot braking.
Looking into an F30 auto brake pedal assy & will see if I can adapt that similar to what BMW Motorsport have fitted to the DCT 240R race cars.

EDIT; Job done :- F30 brake pedal fitted. Should have come from the factory like this.
“Must do” mod for any dct equipped cars, particularly if you plan on going on track.
