2018 BMW M2 sold at Mecum
A mineral grey 6 speed with 7,900 miles sold for $62,700 yesterday at the Kissimmee 2023 auction. I thought that was a solid number in this market and a good indication of long term pricing.

Interesting…definitely more than I would have expected.
Also, that picture of the front of the car from straight on shows a very misaligned hood line…like the front bumper is slightly crooked or something.

Wow, >$60K for a non-Comp M2. Surprising! Must be the low mileage?
The misaligned hood jumped out at me, too. It shows up in other photos on the linked-to auction site. This M2 also has little blue pinstripe decals applied along the exterior body lines. Not my cup of tea…though I suppose it does complement the interior blue stitching. |

That’s an impressive price. I bought an 18 with 1700 miles on it last July under $60k.

I wouldn't take this as an indication of future pricing, its just a fool and his money being parted

Invested the difference. Hopefully the mkts recover and used cars collapse at the same time...

I thought used car sales are going down now? Is this just one instance?
I've just looked at the general used cars websites and it looks like N55 F87s are hovering close to MSRP if it's has low mileage and a little below MSRP if it has mid mileage. Wow. |

Right now it appears to be a one off. Could be someone got excited at the auction and was blinded by the casino atmosphere.

Also remember that there was a 10% buyers fee. Makes the price that much more unbelievable.

Terrible set of pictures as well, which always hurts. The whole point of the pictures is to get the would-be buyer to take mental ownership before he sees it at the auction, making his bid that much higher. I'm always amazed that Mecum allows such terrible shots on their website.
