Michelin PS4S 245/35ZR19
Price: $100 for 2 tires OBO Item: PS4S 245/35ZR19 (Michelin 03744) Location: Houston, TX Willingness to ship: No Description: Hi guys, I'm selling 2 used PS4S 245/35ZR19 (Michelin 03744) that came off my 2015 Audi A3 8V. I hit a huge nail on 5/17/2022 and decided to change the 2 front tires. I then hit another huge nail on 5/31/2022 and decided to change the 2 rear tires. So I ended up with 2 used PS4S... Since I recently totaled my A3 (a young lady was DWI going on the wrong side of the traffic), and I now have a 2022 X3 30i with 21" wheels, I have no use for these tires anymore. I recall this size is identical to the M2 factory PS4S so I decided to post them here. The 2 tires were purchased at different time points. The older one, F3K3 010X 2920, was purchased from Costco back on 9/23/2020 @ about 60k miles and it came off on 5/17/2022 @ 71750 miles. So it has done about 12k miles over 1 year and 8 months. There is a section of rubber missing at the inside sidewall (circled in red in the pic) but it should be safe to use as a backup tire. I measured tread depth using a digital caliper at 4 different locations across 3 cross-sections: Inside: Middle: Outside: 5.9/32" 6.3/32" 6.3/32" 5.8/32" 6.2/32" 6.3/32" 5.9/32" 6.2/32" 6.4/32" 5.9/32" 6.2/32" 6.4/32" The newer one, F3K3 010X 1321, was purchased from Tirerack and mounted on 7/28/2021 @ 66526 miles and came off on 5/31/2022 @ 71831 miles. So it has done 5.3k miles over 10 months. Here are the tread depths I measured: Inside: Middle: Outside: 7.3/32" 7.56/32" 7.94/32" 7.2/32" 7.56/32" 8.06/32" 7.3/32" 7.43/32" 8.06/32" 7.3/32" 7.56/32" 8.06/32" Photos: F3K3 010X 2920 Photos: F3K3 010X 1421 Last edited by mattsheng; 12-26-2022 at 03:11 PM.. This FS post is so great I feel compelled to tell you how you could make such a post even better in the future.
Just post the tread depth pictures with a tread depth gauge. Sidewall shows no metal showing, dates are good, I'd say this is a steal, and would buy them myself if I needed them. |

You can get the digital tread depth gauges on Amazon for cheap, and they really do a great job. I have a standard one, and it does the job well too.
