I just got off the phone with a very nice Michelin rep and she confirmed that the MP4S in 285/30/19 will be released on 1 Apr 2020 with purchase availability around the last week of April/first week of May.
That might be a good choice and keep the front/rear stagger proportions similar to stock? Now, I've got to redo all of my tire research to decide on a 285 or 295 rear! R. |

I just picked up a slightly used set of 275/295 Titan Ts-5 wheels and tires. I have stock suspension (thanks to Ohio roads), so I'll post some pics when I get them mounted.

Anyone know if running 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 would be an issue. wanna go +1 front and +2 rear in sizes as i wanna keep the front still light and nimble. Will this adversly affect the cars handling not going to 265 fronts?

The significantly wider tire in the rear will increase sideways grip, which will in turn induce more understeer for sure, but if you're not tracking the car you may not notice at all. I'd look very closely at the specs of the particular tire as well, as your rear tire will be much taller than your front tire (1.7" if you're using PS4S). That's going to increase your rake, which is only .5" from the factory. Also, the tire weight in the rear will be significantly more than the front (+7 lbs for the PS4S). And remember, depending on the tire you choose, and how the tires relate to each other, the issues can be exacerbated. Case in point. The 255/35 PS4S that a lot of guys buy is only .1 wider TW than the standard 245/35 PSS. But the 275/35 rear they pair with it is .4 wider, so they're actually adding more rear sideways grip than they think they are. This will be different for every tire and in every size, so as I said, look closely at it. |

I dont understand when you say the rear is .4 wider, please can you explain, in both cases the width of the tire is increased by 10 Mill, or 1 cm, 245 to 255, and 265 to 275. That's 4 % larger F and R, the same, assuming PS4S everywhere. correct? |

Great thread!
Looking for help ordering track day tires. Just picked up Titan TS-5 19x9.5 +27 and 19x10.5 +44 Will be lowered .5" front and .75" rear on Dinan HAS. Looking to fit 265/30/19 and 295/30/19. What options are out there? I don't see many track tires in those sizes...or is there a more common size? |

at 9.8" vs 9.6" I would go with a 295/30 to get some "meat" out back with 11" TW. Bonus: Rake only increases by .2"... |

I went with a 255/35/19 & 275/35/19 combination instead. Somewhat of a compromise, but I felt that was the best for my situation, driving style and where I live.

I was looking for this thread, I want to mount 275 on the front axle and I was wondering if they don't rub, from what I see I can mount them without any problem on 9.5 rims.

265/35-19 up front? The diameter becomes the issue with those up front as I think many have tried them and found that to be the case. The 275/30-19 has a good bit smaller diameter but a greater section width, so rubbing comparisons between the two sizes up front might likely show up in different areas.
