I recently got a '20, 6mt, HS, sunroof, etc. 12k miles when purchased, 13k now. 2 previous owners and one of them did a full body clear bra, black painted muffler - some nice touches. It is my daily driver and its been a lot of fun to drive every day. Love the tech, this is my first car with carplay. The auto rev matching makes me feel like I am cheating but makes stop and go traffic a breeze. Power is fantastic.
I am really tempted to throw some coilovers/camber plate and AP's on this thing and take it to the track. I can tell this thing would make a great track car. I also have an '04 gt3 and spec na miata so trying not to go down the rabbit hole with this one. Some things I don't love are the interior rattles and creaks (drivers seat anyone? every time I press the clutch...). That's not a big surprise, every BMW I have owned turns into a rattle trap, but its worse than my 18 year old 50k mile gt3. The HK audio is pretty poor - and I am NOT an audiophile whatsoever. I knew going in that its not a lightweight but boy the heft is apparent. Had a 1m a few years back and the steering was much more communicative - again knew this going in. One thing I am surprised about is the seats are not as comfy/supportive as those in the 1m. Overall I am pretty happy with this car. I had previously been commuting in my Lexus GX. The m2c makes the commute much more fun. |

Hmm no rattles and creaks here…yet. Also a 2020 model but with 22k miles. And I'm a fat dude so would have assumed I'd get creaks before other drivers 🤷*♂️

yeah, not sure about that 'rattles & creaks' comment either. my F87 is my 10th bimmer and i cant remember any of them having significant rattles and creaks except the E36 convertible. my F22 has now been on the road nearly 8 years and over 95K miles and it still feels very tight and solid.

I have a '20 with almost 26k miles on it, but it only has a slight interior rattle when driving on some of the very rough Wisconsin roads (which I'm not even sure is avoidable...). Otherwise it's been rock solid and much better built than any other car I've owned.
