Is your dealer accepting preoders?
Trying to find out if dealers are taking preorders or not. The few I called said no, not sure what others experience may be. I would like to preorder if deposit is refundable since we do not know what the final front end will look like, or the rest of the car. But the front end is what I think most of are concerned with.

Local dealer has an unofficial list that I'm the first one on, they said since they don't have any confirmed pricing or anything they don't even need a deposit. What I was told is that once they do get actual information, enough to confirm anything they will call me and at that point I have to decide or they offer to next person. I've dealt with the dealer before, it is a smaller family owned dealership with a firm policy of never charging above MSRP (even in today's market they won't on any car, probably also why they have a list for G80s that they can't even give dates on). Seems pretty fair to me. Prior BMWs I've had to put up $500-$1k refundable at other dealerships. Half the time I bought the car, other half they returned deposit with no questions asked.

Yes I am confirmed first on list with dealer but they don't have any info. Does anyone have any details to share? Will we really not get bucket seats?
