https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1394068 The bar can unbolt and hinge to allow track tires to fit

BK got back to me last eve. I had asked if their bar for the F87 platform hinges like the F80/82 bar. They said it currently doesn't. So I asked if they could make one for me. I'll keep you in the loop and maybe we can setup a group buy.. HAZMAT

After trading Emails from BK. the M2 setuo is not hinged.
You just need to take 2 more bolts off to make room for rims/tires... Whos possibly in on a Group Buy?

If I remember NASA rules you need at least 1/2 cage over a certain HP in a certain class.......

Interesting since I remember NASA requiring a cage if your HP weight ratio was above "X". This was in a class the a modified EVO X would have run in..

looking forward to seeing pictures, too. I asked BK for some pictures months ago, never got a reply.
This was another option I was looking at, but it doesn't appear that they are being made any more. https://www.agencypower.com/blog/age...in-bmw-f87-m2/ |

Yes, seems like a price difference, compared to vivid. Maybe a difference in shipping?

KHAP,
The BK bar is popular with the Vette & P Car crowds. Solid safe bar to use 6 points with.. Most harness bars are crap and just for show...
