Being an American living in Germany can be a pain in the ass. Specially when it comes to the rules on the road. While there is no specific time period during which winter tires are required, many German drivers use the rule of thumb "von O bis O" – from O to O – meaning snow tires should be put on in October and remain on until Ostern (Easter). So for the last few months I had to search continuously for a set of wheels that wasn't going to break the bank and would do the job and that became a pain in the ass due to the big brake kit! Finally ended up finding a set of used 641M's off of an M4 for a ridiculously good price. For those of you on the fence about fitment issues I put together a quick video showing the clearance of the wheels since I have found slim to no information on them.
What did you all end up going with for winter wheels? M2 Competition Winter Wheel Set up | Big Brake Kit

same 641m in black on my BSM, 245/35/19 square
i do miss the 437m's already....they look so much more aggressive and concave...amazing how much it affects the look of the car overall, car looks way more tame and boring now |

On the CS I have a M437's winter set with Conti's.
So, same problem as with the 641's. There is almost no space between the front calipers and the inside of the rim. Rim or caliper damage is very real, read probably unavoidable. Much better would be a second set of M763's ... A very great investment for the winter months. |

Remounting every season is kind of a pain, but it can be done for sure. |
