i'm not the type to mix and match. my suggestion would be to go the full AA (hoping they also release their new rear section soon).

i had the full AA signature (mid + rear) before, and the sound was orgasmic! i have no doubt that their new system will also be fantastic!
I'm leaning towards this as well. I haven't heard any in person with the last full AA but I know on e9x it was my favorite by far. Not sure when it'll come out but I'm sure the midpipe will keep me happy for a few months at least.

I'm starting to fall in love with the car again which is nice. I'm sure the midpipe will renew my love affair further.
What made you fall out?
Dude tbh, I'm not entirely sure.
There were so many other things going on in my life I just didn't have time to care about my car. Beyond that I got 3 speeding tickets in my first months which stole the fun out of it. Now I just threw the carbahn tune on, and some wider tires so it's a ton of fun to drive, I love my wheels (BBS E88), and I'll love how it sounds very soon too. I installed some camber plates with my KWs, so it's handling amazingly too.

It's getting to be a lot of fun, just wish I knew where to speed around here lol.

Do you have a solid radar detector in your "mods" list? Haha. Was a great addition to my cabin.

Yeah now I have an Escort Max 360c, on a Blend Mount and hardwired. Was a great investment lol.

What are you using?

Is this the res or non-res midpipe?

It sounds really good; no more lawn mower on cold start!!

Uniden r3 right now. I'm no radar detector expert but it's saved me more than a few times already. The range is insane. And love muting false alerts and tagging speed traps based on lat/lon. I'm sure many others do the same at this price point.

You guys do realize that the Equal Length midpipe for the M2C is a preorder, check out Active Autowerke’s website, they plan on shipping the M2C midpipes middle of December if they are still on schedule.

It looks like their new EL midpipe paired with their Maad Maxx axleback is currently the "valved" option for us to get...

I asked Drew at AA what he recommended for my HFC set up:

On 11/12/2020 10:34 AM,
Drew,
>
> I have a 2020 M2C. Current setup is Wagner HFC's with your single midpipe into OEM axleback.
> I'm thinking about placing an order for the new EL midpipe but wasn't sure on doing the resonators? My exhaust is not raspy now but was't sure what will happen with the EL pipe? I also might just go all in and get your full EL exhaust. Is that possible as well and will adding the resonators lower the sound level on either just the midpipe or an entire exhaust.
>
> TIA, Steve

Steve,

If its a high flow cat 300 cell or less I would probably go for the
resonated version unless you like it loud and willing to take that
chance. Our maad maxx rear exhaust will help alleviate any rasp as its
not exactly a straight pipe when open about 20% of it still go through
the muffler in valve open mode.

I'm weeks away from my Active Autowerks Resonated Equal Length Midpipe. They have the resonators still being manufactured.

Guys working there recommend getting resonated with cat less downpipe, especially if you are tying to remove the rasp.

Keeping stock muffler cause it's pretty good. Going to paint it matte black with AA Matte tips.

Yes certainly resonated with catless and non-res with stock downpipes

I called AA last week to ask about the equal length midpipe & what rear sections it fit with. Rob said their new one was to be released hopefully with this next batch of midpipes - so I would guess mid-end December, if not January..
