AA mid-pipe+VRSF downpipes
Anyone running this setup? Want some more noise/pops/bangs on lift off and replacing just the mid-pipe didn't really do it for me (even though it removed the OPF).
Don't want more power, just improving the sound. |

Sounds great and only loud under full throttle with exhaust open... I would think sound wise your path would turn out almost the same.

Do you get the lift off farts (not the burbles) like the F80's do? |

Before I got BM3 it was louder overrun in Sport & Sport +.
After BM3 I dialed it all out except in Sport Plus above 5K. BM3 allows you to adjust the sound level and what RPM range you want the burbles/ Perfect now.........

I went with the AA mid pipe and stock exhaust because I wanted to clean up the sound and give it a little more growl in sport and sport+, also when getting on the gas in efficient it has a nice sound when climbing gears. Adding the aftermarket exhaust would give it more noise, but IMO it would be too loud for daily driving.

I really want to run VSRF downpipes, into the AA equal length midpipe feeding into my spare M2 (n55) performance exhaust setup.
Pretty much a hodge podge of different parts that I'd love to see come together |
