Nope. M2 used M Performance suspension (rebadged KW V3), while M3 and M4 just use Height Adjustable Springs - hence the name - with the existing electronically controlled dampers.

Well the link above clearly indicates the single part # KW HAS kit fits F80-82 & F87M2
Considering that I wager the F80/82 M performance HAS kit ( manufactured by KW for BMW) would likely work on the F87 but why bother when the KW HAS kit is directly approved for F87 M2 and significantly less expensive than M performance kit. |

The reason the F80-82 BMW HAS kit apparently works on those models but not the F87 is supposedly the active dampers on the former that the latter lacks.
The CS has the active dampers, and hence the question. HTH |

if you scroll down and see the list of compatible cars you will see M2, M3, M4 and then if you consider what that means, when the M3 and M4 already had adaptive suspension, the point becomes, yes, the same kit will work on the M2CS with adaptive suspension. what do you think is special about the adaptive suspension that makes it need different springs? |

I don't think it needs different springs, more that the adaptive dampers on the F80-82 can apparently cope with the HAS kit, whereas the non-adaptive dampers on the F87 OG and LCI struggle.
So, noting that the CS has adaptive dampers I was wondering whether the F80-82 HAS kit would work on that car even though it apparently doesn't on the OG and LCI. I am aware of the KW HAS kit, and that it is listed as having broader application than just the F80-82. |

Notes 91: Front and rear height adjustable (front and rear springs with threaded height adjusters). Stock shock absorbers including electronic controls are being utilized. |

Spring rates are partially decided based on a cars wheelbase. F80 springs will be a few percent off for an F87 in terms of front to rear balance. Will you notice? Maybe. Would I? Yes.

OP, where are you getting your information from?
I haven't yet checked the ETK parts catalog at work to see I'd the CS is listed yet, realoem doesn't list it yet. But here is a screen shot of a previous post here stating that the M2CS uses the same springs front and rear as both OG &C M2. It also indicates the shocks/struts are the same part number as F80-82-83 with EDC. |

I think we might be talking at crossed purposes, but this is why I think the parts are different on the M2 compared to the M3/4:

I assume we don't have any more clarity yet on what springs may work for the CS application right?

Did you ever determine if the F8x MP HAS kit would work? If I trade in my M4 I may pull the HAS kit if it can be reused.

I installed the Dinan springs on my M235i with adaptive suspension. I know it's not an M car, the programming of the adaptive suspension sometimes got it wrong with the springs. For instance driving on the freeway at 70 mph it became very stiff and jiggly. I remember on some BMWs the tuners came out with a hack for the adaptive suspension to take into consideration the springs. Sadly they were never able to hack the adaptive suspension on the M235i. One of the main reasons I sold the M235i was because I could never get the suspension right.
