M2 CS (USA) build dates?

Now that allocations are out, has anyone gotten a confirmed build date from their dealership?

The only thing I have is a confirmed production number in hand and a week 41 build week. I was told the build week could change. The car status on My BMW moved from "Order Received" to "Scheduled for Production"

I haven't gotten mine into My BMW yet.. I'll have to get on him for that this week. (nevermind... figured it out that you can add tracking with the production number on your own profile)

I think you have to pester these guys at dealership. They are more interested(and rightfully so) with selling something on the lot today!
I did 3 ED's and had to push on everyone.

Funny, I texted my SA and he said no production number yet. 10 minutes later he said it was just assigned. Hahaha

jhall1957 I'd be curious to hear about your opinion on the depreciation thread. I just noticed that you have two in the garage that I would consider have already hit the resurgence period z4MC. I spoke about the z4M, which I think is on the resurgence cusp.

I got a confirmed production number, but it's also just "Scheduled for Production" and I do not have a build week.

My build has been scheduled for 11/2-11/8. That's later than I hoped, so I am asking them to take the Cup2's off the order since they could be ruined by winter transport.

Rumor has it we get the PS4S otherwise (not definitively confirmed) which I have on my 1M for daily, and they are perfectly capable.

Didn't think about them getting ruined in transport. Good thing to consider

US spec builds thus far have come with Super Sports if you don't opt for Cup 2s. I'll be installing the PS4S for the winter and putting the Cup 2s in the basement to keep them at proper temps.

My SA also mentioned that the PS4S was "all but confirmed" for US CS cars in the model training he received. You could be correct that they still come with PSS, but we seem to have a couple reports that PS4S may be equipped. We can hope.

It is interesting that the German deliveries get PSS for US spc. I believe China gets the PS4S.

I'd be happy with either of those. The car won't be driven in cold or rain. I am mainly worried about the Cup2's exposure during North Atlantic and cross continent transport in December.

Where are you guys getting production weeks/dates?
My BMW just shows mine as "Scheduled For Production" and then below says "The factory has scheduled production of your unique BMW".

My CA told me the dates. When I log into myBMW, it just says "Scheduled for production" with no dates.

my build sheet shows 'c-46-24024'

assume that may mean week 46.

I've been trying to tease out of the delivery tracking master thread the actual time it takes to get the car from build date, and trying to remember from when my 335 was built. Here's what I've been adding up for myself in the midwest based on the info provided previously:

Build start (150) to build finish (155): 1-2 weeks.
-Build finish (155) to Scheduled for Carrier (182): 1 day.
-Status 182 to 190 (on a train to bremerhaven):1-3 days.
-Status 190 to 193 (at port awaiting a ship): 1-2 days.
-Status 193 to 195 (on a ship): 3-5 days for east coast delivery,
-Shipping time from Bremerhaven to East Coast: 12-17 days depending on the number of stops.
--Offload at port: 1 day
-Processing through customs: 1-2 days
-Process through BMW Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) and onto a carrier: 2-5 days.
-Shipping time on carrier to Dealership: 1-4 days.

So on the long side - ~54 days/8 weeks) and short side ~30 days/4 weeks.

I've been mentally assuming about 6 weeks from build start, so if Week 41, then in my hands week of November 16th.

(Found my original build sheet/production number on my 335 and it was almost exactly 8 weeks from status 112 to in my hands)

Any concern getting this car delivered in winter? Damage to the car primarily?
