My SA responded and said he can't see that page in the system. More specifically
When I’m in our vehicle locator every model has not only a model code (202W in this case), but a model name (M2 CS Cp, for instance) in the right side of the screen. This just shows a model code. Maybe better luck tomorrow. |

That's a big % of CS's for the U.S.
Congrats to those that manage to secure one!

I was expecting more than 500 but in the end those who could secure one they will be lucky - the 1M had almost 2 times more this number ! Maybe the figures about 2200 cars is true , i don't think we will see more cars than that.

Sales of the 1M was a totally different story (2011-2012): initially 2700 were scheduled, but demand in 2011 turned out so high that BMW decided to make as many as possible, ramping up production in September 2011, all the way till June 2012: 6309 cars. The US got 740 cars (2011 only). And in the end not all demand could be met due to production capacity limitations. Demand for the 1M also remained strong afterwards, explaining the unusually high resale price for the 1M, even today. In contrast, M2 CS demand is lukewarm over here. It's a hard seller. The reason has been discussed to death: people like the M2 CS (no doubt about that, it is a cool piece of kit), but dislike the immodest price-tag (compared to the 1M, OG M2 and M2C). Several 0 mile / low mile M2 CS start popping up on car sales websites in Europe, and most of the ads flaunt the "limited edition" tag-line (see for example here). The coin flippers breed is hoping for a frenzy, which is not gonna happen (just like it didn't happen for the M4 GTS, M4 CS and M3 CS).

My PA dealer got 2.
I'm not on the list tho. So you think everyone got at least one? Someone not on the list needs to start smiling and dialing to the OK, AR, Dakotas of the world ... LOL |

Recommend calling the smaller dealerships around the country. I found my 1m at BMW of Utica pretty late in the game. Every other dealer was charging $2k min premium. They had allocation for one and sold it to me for list. I did Spartanburg delivery.
Happy hunting guys! |

I had that problem WITHIN state when I was doing the deposit last year. Dealers 90 minutes away weren't interested in dealing with me. Luckily the one right here in town worked out, and I'm all set on my allocation as of yesterday.

My dealer has a allocation available at MSRP, no mark up. PM me for contact info, not sure when the system will let the dealer modify it.
And it is spoken for now. |

I just asked a SM at a local store (smaller) about their allocation and he said yes... misano blue. Probably the same spec you described. |
