Why buy a brand new m2 and tear it apart? Why not buy a used and save some $$?

Battery, to balance the car I'm going to take this huge one out and relocate to rear right in that hole. I'm going to keep a heavy battery for balance. We did the same thing in our e46 race car. We tried a light weight but the cars really want the weight in that corner.

Would totally do it if I could afford it. No way I would build something like this from a used car unless I would also change the engine, but then, it would be cheaper to just buy the shell from BMW like racing teams do.

Are you kidding me, I'd be glued to this build if you put it up on YouTube. I'd watch each episode multiple times. Drop everything and get the cameras out!

I didn't know MCS actually make 4-way dampers. There is nothing on their website about them.

This looks like a sick project. Definitely looking forward to seeing the end. I'm over here trying to justify buying an M2 comp as a daily and then this thing pops op.
