First tracktime with the 265/30 and 295/30 r888r. 12mm spacer in front. There was no rubbing on the spring collars of the mperformance suspension. There was rubbing on the outer fender liner and on the metal fender lip under full compression (downhill hump while braking and slight turn). Only one 1 corner did this occur. On flat corners, no rubbing. So even with -3 degrees camber, the 12mm spacer is a bit too much. Im not confident that a 5mm spacer will be sufficient to clear the spring collar with tire deflection during cornering. I'm tempted to try a 7.5mm or 8mm spacer. |

I don’t think you’ll have any problems with 265/30. I ran that size on 19x9.5 ET30 and -3.0 camber with no issues.

For me this worked with a 4S, R7, and RE-71R 265/35/19, camber ranging from -1.8 to -3.1, ET30-33, and dropped 12mm in the front with Dinan HAS. I’m pretty sure the rubbing issue that is being discussed with the 265/30 is an inboard/outboard issue bc of the large spacer that was used and not needed. I was able to fit some 265/30 without a spacer on 19x9.5 ET33, no rub. Last edited by ZM2; 09-19-2019 at 08:49 AM.. |

I don't have a 7.5 on hand to try. The 5 I do have doesn't appear to be enough to address clearance and sidewall deflection under hard cornering. So I used a 12. I will buy a set of 7.5 and see how they work next track day. |

wanofakind01 is running V3’s with 255/35 RE-71R with no issues and the math says a 5mm spacer would be enough for a 265/30 to clear if the V3’s and MPS are the same size. If it clears statically with a couple mm to spare, it should be good dynamically. Sidewall deflection isn’t a concern on the topside of the tire where it would rub the strut. |

The 265/30 is 5mm wider on each side than the 255/35, so he may very well need the 7.5mm spacer at a minimum if your 255/35s rubbed. |

Ok, so I finally got my tires on the wheels and tried to mount. I saw someone say they were having the same problem I'm now having earlier in the thread. The front tires do not clear the suspension collar. I have the MPerformance coilovers.
I suppose a spacer of some size (maybe 5mm?) will work, but I'm not sure. Has anyone found a solution? Also, where is the best place to get 5mm spacers and new studs on the quick?! |

Playing to go with ohlins suspension, will it help to eliminate the spacers or it will rub in front as well? |
