My grain silos arrived today.

Won't have a chance to fit them up until I decide on track tires but so far so good.

Here's one of the weency fronts...

So am I allowed to assume that the back ordered shipment of wheels is now being fulfilled? Please say yes.

Here you go! Will give it an actual wash and remove the 5mm spacers in the rear later when I swap pads out this week

Mineral Grey with Hyper Silver

Quick photos..this was just a fast test fit as I’m in the midst of moving house. These are the new M2 specific EC-7 with 265/30 front and 295/30 rear...completely stock suspension on 2018 M2 otherwise. I have camber plates on the shelf but they are not mounted...I’ll see if I need them or not. Last 2 photos are clearance at full steering lock on front...tight squeeze!

Looking at the 275/295. You think 275/30 will fit up front? I am lowered but have -2.5 front camber.

This 19x9.5 ET28 and 19x10.5 ET45 fitment is offered as a recommended fitment for the M2C. With the proper tire sizes, this is a great fit on cars fitted with the OEM suspension and many aftermarket suspensions that do not limit inner clearance more than OEM.

We do know that the M performance adjustable collars (manufactured by KW) are a bit bulkier than the OEM suspension up front and can cause clearance issues. For KW and the very similar M Performance suspension systems, we do recommend a small 5mm spacer up front to aid in clearance. As these systems do limit inner clearance on the F87 application.

We generally do not recommend a 12mm spacer on the 19x9.5" ET28 wheel up front as this is very aggressive and can cause issues with fender clearance. I believe that your current camber setting are aiding in clearance here, which makes the 12mm spacer up front possible. Did you have a chance to try the 5mm spacer up front for clearance?

We do know that the 19x10.5 ET45 with the 285/30-19 in the rear is a direct fit, per our fitment testing. So I am glad to hear that your fitment test confirms this, especially the bit about the 5mm test for fun!

Expert@ApexRaceParts - Just mounted 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 to my M2C with M Performance coilovers (KW). i left my 5mm spacer (fronts only) after reading this. i am hearing some rubbing on full turn. i have to check where this rubbing/noise is coming from. i will send an update soon.

I am determined to get RS4's on this thing. With the above EC7's on stock suspension with camber plates (~-2.5 camber atm) will 275/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear work? I know the tire height is 1.5% change which is just outside of the green zone but..

Thoughts?
Thanks for the post! I'd really recommend sticking with 30-profile sidewalls with these sizes. The taller 35 sidewall will likely rub the fender liners during full-lock turns. Even a 265/30 is quite close as seen in the photos posted here.

275/30 may work, and the negative camber will definitely help. I recommend being prepared to deal with some slight fender liner rubbing during full-lock turns. Not a huge deal and will likely self-clear over time, but just something to be aware of when running aggressive tires wider than 265/30 up front.

Looking forward to the update. The 255/35-19 is only 7mm taller than stock (3.5mm on each side), but when combined with the more aggressive offset as a result of the spacers, it may be just enough to make contact with the fender liner while turning. Our recommended front tire size on the 19x9.5" ET28 is 265/30-19, which is 19.5mm shorter than 255/35-19, so that may be your best bet if you want to completely eliminate rubbing.

Expert@ApexRaceParts - Dylan - sent you email with pictures. Looks like the rubbing is from the front liner. I will try to remove the 5mm spacer to see if this will help. Hope the coilover perches do not rub...

I'm curious how the 255/285 setup will feel with the re71's. I was going to go 265 up front understanding the liner will get chewed up a bit but i may wait to hear your feedback on turn in and front grip.
Not sure how aggressive you are but will like to hear your feedback since you will be out there before me.

I'm also curious if M2C front liner is more likely to rub since it has the little ducts.

I'm using the porsche ducts on mine so those may have to go

Will do, if the weather holds up this weekend I'll be trying this setup on the track. If it rains I'll likely switch back to the MPSS setup. By all means not a track star, but can generally tell slight differences.

I went 255 specifically due to not having to deal with fender rub since I'm lowered and already dealt with that with my 265/35/18 setup in the past. Fitting 285 in the rear required me to raise 0.5" and then another 0.125" in the front since my splitter started scraping here and there.

Will keep you posted, hoping turn-in won't be compromised.

I should clarify I have an OG M2 for the 275/30 up front (summer performance tires not race tires). I hear the fender liner has a tad more clearance?

We've heard this as well, but haven't yet taken any specific measurements. With that said, the 275/30-19 still has a chance of rubbing especially if the car is lowered.

In the photos wacobipe posted, you can see how tight the clearance is with 265/30. The 275/30 will have 3mm less clearance to the fender liners. This type of rubbing isn't necessarily a big issue, and it usually self-clears over time. It's just something you'll want to be aware of and check on periodically.

Apex and all, need some advice. I got my EC-7's in a couple of weeks ago and haven't had the chance to do anything with them yet.
My situation is stock M2C, 245/35 front, 265/35 PSS OEM on the stock wheels with US spec big brakes.
I want to track (likely time trial) the car but don't plan to add any camber plates or other camber adjustment to it.

The car, as expected, suffers from terminal understeer at the limit.
I want either RivalS 1.5 or RE71-R for time trials and the Rivals don't appear to have any close sizes.
So I'm assuming RE71-R it is.

What size RE71-R should I try on these new Apex rims that a) won't rub with no modifications to suspension and b) will help me mitigate some of the inherent understeer? I was thinking I'd just close the 20MM gap between front and rear to 10 MM but I'm looking for suggestions.

Please advise! Thanks!
I'll post some in car video when I get the chance as well. I can't wait to get these wheels on the car!
TIA!

Here's some track video on the PSS and stock wheels (with pressures as delivered and driven to the track). I was taking it a bit easier on this shorter layout so the understeer, while there, isn't as visible. I ran the longer track (still short) this weekend and pushed harder and the understeer was egregious. I'm pretty sure under the current rules (essentially SCCA autocross classing rules) the M2C isn't going to be competitive in time trials with a well-driven C6 Z06 but it's still fun. Better pads and higher temp fluid will help as well, but nothing (legal for class) is going to close that 100HP gap.
