Running out of roads
I think I've driven on every single twisty road in Southeastern PA. I need some ideas on new roads. Let me know your favorite roads to rip around on. My favorite right now is Deerwood Lane, Quakertown PA (GPS Location - 40°27'44.2"N 75°14'40.4"W).

Was looking at those roads on google street view. You're not afraid of deer popping out?
I live in NEPA and there are a couple nice roads near Lackawanna state park, but I had a deer come out at night once and it's made me a lot more cautious since. So much so that I don't race around on them anymore. |

I hear ya, but that's inherent of beautiful twisty roads. I've had deer and groundhogs pop out of nowhere. I'm just hoping that the screaming S55 and the pops and burbles let them know I'm coming.

In my experience, the deer freeze in the middle of the road. That's with my brights on, Fabspeed sport cat, and MPE valves open.

Frenchtown, New Hope area...
It just join the HPDE every May with ACNA-NJ. They host in first week in May (usually on a Friday) at Pocono. They usually change up the track configuration every year - IMSA, double infield, etc. you can search them at Motorsportreg.com. They also host a twilight event usually in July. Open to all makes and models.

Unfortunately deer are part of the driving equation in parts of the mid Atlantic and northeast. Nothing you can do to prevent it. Just continually scan the shoulders and perhaps avoid driving at dusk and dawn when they seem to move the most. We are heading into rutting season so it will only get worse. At the end of the day if you hit a deer...that's why we have insurance! Enjoy your car and dont worry about stuff you cannot control.
