Can anyone in Europe get 265/35 R19 Michelin PS4S tires ? Seems temporary unavailable
Currently looking to buy a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S but cant find any for sale in 265/35/R19. Does anyone know if they're temporarily out of stock or if Michelin have stopped production in that size?

265/35 R19 Michelin PS4S tires temporary unavailable ?
I am looking for a set of PS4S tires?
245/35R19 front 265/35R19 rear Fronts I can get anywhere, the rears are the issue. They are out of stock everywhere. In the UK there isn't even one wheel available across the country. Production should start soon again, but current waiting time for the rears is 2 months right now! Any help is greatly appreciated! I tried a lot, but no luck so far. Changes are that I will get PS4S front and PSS rear, burn through those PSS at the rear and get PS4S when they are available. MR |

I got exactly the same information when I tried to get hold of a new set of PS4S wheels for my 763M wheels from my tire dealer earlier this week: PS4S in 265/35 R19 was out of stock in the system.
Back in 2017 I fitted a PS4S set in the 245/35 R19 and 265/35 R19 specs without problem getting those. What about moving a notch up: 255/35 R19 front and 275/35 R19 rear ? AFAIK no rubbing. See also this post: Quote:

I got those tires on my M2 and now want them again, but they only have PSS, so I went for that now. I was not planning to get PS4S for the front only, then PSS for the rear and remove those as soon as the PS4S will be available. It is what it is... Also I don't see me driving on Cup's, they don't slide well enough. MR |

Then Michelin should get its act together. Totally depleted stock: strange that Michelin didn't see that situation coming. Did they underestimate demand ? If the tire sells very well in that tire size, you ramp up production, no ?

OK, Michelin PSS and PS4S got the same bloodline and you are definitely not 'mismatching' tires (no mixing in the front or in the rear itself) and undoubtedly you will choose the same specs, but still, personally I prefer sticking with the same type of tire for all 4 wheels for optimal proper road behavior. Especially if you like 'spirited' drives: no compromise on tires - too important. Kinda sucks that Michelin ran out of stock of PS4S 265/35 R19, requiring us to look into alternative solutions.

No 265/35/19 in The Netherlands
Not only UK, Belgium and Canada they run out of Michelin 265/35/19, but also in The Netherlands. I got a front left puncture and i have a problem now.
I don't want to mix with PSS and will wait for a month. I'm on winter tires for the time being

My tire dealer couldn't find PS4S 265/35 R19 anywhere in Europe. Out of stock.
As I preferred not to wait for May/June release and want PS4S instead of PSS or Cup 2 for my car, I settled for PS4S 255/35 R19 front and 275/35 R19 rear to sport my 763M wheels. But also the 275/35 R19 with 100 load index is a hard find. My tire dealer found a pair somewhere in Europe for me. About going for a 255/275 setup instead of a 245/265 setup : see the dedicated thread here.

Funny that I stumbled upon this thread now because I've been looking for PS4s in 265/35/19 for a couple of days and yes, they seem out of stock everywhere...
Since I have ContiSportContact 3s now I'm thinking about just buying a set of ContiSportContact 6s for the rear as I would believe that they are similar enough to the 3s but still an upgrade, what do you think? Also, I was wondering about the star-marking for BMW tires and what it means if the same tire instead has Audi/Mercedes marking or whatever. What is the difference between the tires and does it matter if I buy those with Audi marking if I can't get those with BMW marking? According to a service desk person I asked he said that you can use any of them... But I have no knowledge about this so I can't be sure if they just wanted to sell more tires. What do you guys think about this? |
