steel brake lines
I recall that when the Z4M was new, it was considered a must among the, very knowledgeable community for the specific car back then, to upgrade the stock brake lines.
Haven't seen much posted on this topic for the M2/M2C. Have people swapped theirs? Into what brand? Those of you that have, seen any improvement? |

I do it on all of my motorcycles and did it on the M2 before first track day. I think it's a must, as it helps to keep consistent braking with less fade. They work.
Brand probably doesn't matter. I have ECS lines though they may be rebrands, not sure tbh. Also while you're at it, put in Castrol SRF DOT 5 fluid. |

I'm using on std brakes (discs. calipers, hoses & pads) and helps with keeping pedal feel and bite more consistent for longer

SS Brake lines
Installed them on mine about a year ago. Cannot say I noticed any difference. It does give additional insurance against any debris slicing open a brake line when on the track.
